Work work work

Seems like all I ever do anymore. Trying to maintain a part-full time business while having a full time job is a pain sometimes, but it's impressive what one can do when one manages their time. I do enjoy what I do though (coding cool web applications and sites).

One such application is a calendar at the college website where I work (link to come). I made this calendar from scratch using XHTML and ColdFusion. It's really nice because (for all you geeks out there) it doesn't use tables, just pure CSS. It's also cool because of the popups..they are also rendered using CSS and JavaScript. I took the clean yet useful approach.

I didn't think a year ago I'd be where I am today. I gotta say it's mostly because of my wife. She's excellent! =)

But I think it's time for a breather...I want to concentrate on contributing to open source projects I use (Linux, Drupal), and ironing out my business. Hosting is really where it's at. It can generate very good residual income.
