Seng and I just got back into California from Washington today. Here's the rundown on the trip:

1. Drove up through Oregon Coast, went to sand dunes, beaches, etc. Saw lots of Elk. Cool.
2. Tried to sleep in hotel after driving all night. Loud truck rally and protest with lots of honking ensued, didn't sleep much.
2. Stayed at parents house in Eatonville, went to Dave's BBQ with the parents.
3. Went to Northwest Trek, got lucky and saw all the animals, almost attacked by disabled snow owl.
4. Set off fireworks with the parents, girlfriend, Becky and her husband Ian, got scorched but had fun wiring the big fireworks together to set them off at the same time. Ian got scorched too.
5. Played lot's of domino's with everyone, no injuries reported.
6. Ate pizza, drank near-beer.
7. Slept in. Got hair cut.
8. Ate more pizza, drove to Bellevue to look at mansions, became inspired.
9. Drove to Issaquah to pick up Matt, then drove to Kirkland to pick up Erik (best friend) then drove to Red Robin for burgers.
10. Drove to Seattle with everyone, took the monorail to Seattle center. Saw Lazer Floyd, better than 10 years ago.
11. Drove to 13 coins restaurant. Had a great meal, I talked too much and got a sore throat.
12. Nearly hit large deer going 80mph on the freeway. ABS worked, deer stopped walking just in time as I swerved and braked, girlfriend screamed really loud. Cool.
