Wednesday's computer

Here I am, at my recently 'repaired' computer, making all sorts of new discoveries. I suppose this refurb'd Vaio, at 4 years old, may be on its way out, though I hope it holds on just alittle longer until the money comes for a new one.

It came back from SPEEDY TECH (conveniently located next to Jack In The Box) with a scrubbed out hard drive, XP Professional and teeny-tiny fonts that defy my stylings in the windows themes area.

The funniest part is how my poor little workhorse Minolta laser printer's set up instructions now appear in Spanish. Yes, I've re-installed in English, but everything magically turns into espanol once the computer reboots. Como?

Oh well, what can I say? A PROJECT!

Ha Im glad my macbook hasn't turned espagnol. I would be screwed. Unless it asked me where the bathroom was, i know that much. I know some french too. 3 years and I can still say "We go to cinema"  "Shut up" "Give me your pocket change" and "I am tired of chees and ham" Yes education has done me well :-) -MATTHEW STEELSMITH
