Cooper is in the newborn intensive care unit (NICU) for now. He was first in there because the doctors thought he may have had an infection. This turned out to be false, but Cooper is now not eating as he needs to be in order to grow and get strong. He is not starving himself by any means, but he isn't eating enough.

He is doing very well, is quiet but is getting fussier and has already smiled at me. The NICU only allows one person to stay the night with him, so Jennifer is doing that tonight. I am glad to be at home, but miss both of them terribly.

If all goes well, and it sounds like it is, Cooper should be home within a day or two. I have posted more pictures of Cooper's moments after birth here and will continue with updates when I can...hopefully from a real computer and not a phone as previous updates were done.
