My friend in administration text me on my cell phone today. She says they are opening up a new lead position in Phoenix, AZ. For those of you that don't know. I work for a company called Alltel. I've been there for about 3 years almost. I got the job during the 3 years in Phoenix, AZ. I worked in customer service and have since moved up to Technical Support. Alltel bought out a company called Western Wireless which happened to own a call center in Issaquah, WA. I felt homesick and wanted to advance so I moved to Issaquah, WA a couple months ago. Things were looking up and I was gonna get promoted fast yet we recieved word our call center was closing down in October. I came back because I thought I missed Washington but was wrong. I missed my family and my friends but not really the state. I was spoiled in AZ and had established a good life in the 3 years I was living there. I made a decision to stay with the company and try to advance in positions. I was going to leave in October and move back to Phoenix unless a lead position opened up before hand. Low and behold one has. I already applied today. I believe I have an excellent shot at it. Wish me luck. I will keep you all posted when I leave.
