The holidays

Jennifer, Cooper and I had a very good Christmas. No extravagant spending, just good company. Cooper was spoiled by both sides of the family. Jennifer and I are very lucky for you all. Without further delay, here are a few pictures!
Getting cold

Sure has been getting cold around these parts lately. And my heater went out in my car, just in time! Yessss. I wanted to mention a good way to find used parts for cars (with warranty) is the internet! There are several different types of services out there, such as http://getusedparts.com/ at which you fill out your contact information and specify the part you are looking for. From there your request is sent to quite a few different places.
Introducing Cooper Steelsmith

We just got back from the doctor's office and, needless to say, we're very excited. We finally know what color to shop for. For more photos, see Cooper Steelsmith's first web page! Ony -20 weeks old and already has a web page...not bad!
An update...Cooper first appeared on Google as the number one hit for the search Cooper Steelsmith on 11/16/2007!
It's a small world

So Jennifer and I were looking at getting new furniture. We found a new couch and chair on craigslist.org and after calling on it, I went to pick it up today in Issaquah.
Saving money

I have definitely learned the importance of saving my money with my latest engine debacle, and the best ways to do it. I am going to share what has worked for me.
First, you have to "pay yourself first." No matter how in debt you are, no matter the bills, you have to save something every paycheck. Start with 10% off the top, before you do anything with your money. I am up to about 30% now.
Life lessons: change your timing belt

I had forgotten to change my timing belt...or maybe neglected to do so, for the last 120,000 miles. I am supposed to do it every 60,000. Oops.
Well, the day after Jennifer and I figured out we are pregnant, my timing belt broke. The remedy? A new engine. There is nothing you can do at that point, the engine is ruined. I thought changing the timing belt was expensive ($800) but it's nothing compared to an engine ($3600).
Work work work

Seems like all I ever do anymore. Trying to maintain a part-full time business while having a full time job is a pain sometimes, but it's impressive what one can do when one manages their time. I do enjoy what I do though (coding cool web applications and sites).
Bored.

I just got done saying I really do have a life in a comment, and here I am saying I'm bored. I'm moving tomorrow and the wife went to a concert. Everything is packed (I'm using my phone to write this) and nothing is on the television.
Technology amazes me. I marvel at how dependant i've become on it's power to bring the world closer. Even though this phone uses windows, it has become a very necessary tool in my life. I just wish it used Linux.
My Other Blog Is A Porsche

Well, a WordPress blog to be truthful. I don't know what I'm going to do with it. I wrote about quite a few things but it's very popular because I wrote about private profile hacking in MySpace (not how to do it, just that it's being done and the techniques behind it), and there are many, many desperate people trying to view private profiles.
