I had lost this video and recently found it on the internet. I am in it twice but you can't see my face. I'm the guy plotting the "chase" course on the chart and then I am on the chase boat. He had spliced this video together over a period of time on the patrol.

After much consideration and urging from family and friends. I have created my own blog to post all of the things I would otherwise send to everyone daily and fill their email boxes. You'll see articles, pictures and videos that I think are cool, which makes them cool. Seng and I just got back into California from Washington today. Here's the rundown on the trip:

1. Drove up through Oregon Coast, went to sand dunes, beaches, etc. Saw lots of Elk. Cool.
2. Tried to sleep in hotel after driving all night. Loud truck rally and protest with lots of honking ensued, didn't sleep much.
2. Stayed at parents house in Eatonville, went to Dave's BBQ with the parents.
3. Went to Northwest Trek, got lucky and saw all the animals, almost attacked by disabled snow owl.

I found the picture and liked it. I thought Jake would call BS on me. I just have a laptop.

So I dressed up last night and met with Deepak, my new found investor friend at the Crown Plaza Hotel. After a few weeks of nervous negotiations over the phone with Sundar, a mutual business partner, I had thought that our deal was on shaky ground. I had committed myself even more when I told my boss I'm going to become and independent contractor and run his internet marketing only, and that I've been financed to start my own design company.

Good stuff Jake. I'm glad you put this site up. Surprised that all of the other Steelsmith's in the US didn't grab up the domain. I've been sending random offers to that Indian fellow with the clamps at Steelsmith.com, but I guess .org's better since this isn't a commerce site.

As far as the diary part is concerned, I told my boss I'm leaving to go to WA, come back, and start my own web design company with my new found millionaire friend. I'm pretty nervous that he'll just change his mind but I'm sure things will work out.
